Pocket Prints is a kid-powered 3D printing business founded by 11-year-old Nathan from Horfield, Bristol. With a passion for creativity, technology, and giving back, Nathan designs and prints a range of fun, affordable products for children and families — including fidget toys, modular builds, dragons, and full chess sets.
What started as a hobby quickly grew into a mission: to create cool things that spark joy and support good causes. Nathan sells his creations at a regular trader’s table in a Caldicot and at local craft fairs once a month and for every sale he donates 50% of his profits to good causes.
Pocket Prints is more than just a business — it’s a movement powered by imagination, generosity, and a big heart. Every model is printed with care, and every sale helps make a difference.

About our printer
Nathan uses the Bambu Lab P1S, a high-performance 3D printer that helps him bring Pocket Prints to life. With its enclosed build chamber and advanced motion system, the P1S delivers fast, precise prints — perfect for detailed dragons, modular toys, and chess sets. It handles a wide range of materials and produces smooth, durable models that look great and last.
One of the coolest features is its ability to print in multiple colours using the AMS (Automatic Material System), which means Nathan can create vibrant, eye-catching designs without switching filaments manually. The printer also includes smart features like auto bed levelling and vibration compensation, making it reliable and efficient — ideal for a young entrepreneur who’s serious about quality.
